If you love booing a pantomime villain and relish the interactive fun of a family show full of laughter, you’re in for a treat this year. Here’s a small selection of the productions taking place in the Chester and Wirral area this festive season.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Running from December 7th, 2021 to January 5th, 2022, New Brighton’s Floral Pavilion will play host to Claire Sweeney as the Wicked Queen in this much-loved traditional pantomime. Expect laughs and surprises aplenty from a cast including Luke Walsh as the Prince, Philip Meeks as Nurse and Sean Jones as Muddles.
Jack and the Beanstalk
Crissy Rock is foregoing the sunshine of Benidorm to star as the Fairy ‘Cross the Mersey at Ellesmere Port Civic Centre from the December 14th, 2021 to December 24th, 2021. Proving you can never have too many giants or magic beans, The Gladstone Theatre in Port Sunlight is also staging a production of this panto classic, with performances running from December 11th, 2021 to December 31st, 2021.
Robin Hood
For a panto that will get you up and dancing in the aisles, this year, the Everyman team is giving Sherwood Forest a musical makeover with The Everyman Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto: Robin Hood. The show will run from November 20th, 2021 to January 15th, 2022 at Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse.
