Treat your tree as you would fresh cut flowers and trim at least 2cm from the stem
Place outdoors in a shaded area in a bucket of water for 24 hours before you bring it indoors
Keep the netting on until you have positioned your tree indoors
Place in a water holding stand and give your tree a drink every day
Position your tree away from direct heat such as radiators and fires aiming to keep the room temperature below 20°C
