Baubles are one of the key components of Christmas decorations, with most Christmas trees featuring a range of colours, shapes, and sizes hanging from their branches. There are many other ways to display baubles, however. Here are six of the best to get you started.
1. A bauble centrepiece
Turn a large bauble upside down, and glue or tape to a plate or bowl. Remove the hanger and fill the bauble with a few small flowers, berries or leaves, using the bauble like a small festive vase.
2. Baubles in glass
Display a pile of baubles within a glass bowl, vase or even drinks glasses. Magnify the effect by using a range across the Christmas table, or use one large display as a very effective centrepiece.
3. Cupcake bauble holder
Use a tiered cupcake stand for a stunning display, by placing appropriately-sized baubles within each separate cupcake holder.
4. Bauble place settings
Define each guest’s space by placing a bauble on their plate with a name tag attached. You could also display the bauble within a small bowl, adding other decorations such as pine cones – or simply use a range of differently-sized baubles in contrasting or complementary colours.
5. Banister baubles
If you have an open-style stair banister, then you could hang baubles on that, either from separate, long pieces of ribbon, or use bunches of baubles for an eye-catching effect.
6. Bauble wreath
You can buy ready-made bauble wreaths for your door – or why not make your own if you’re feeling creative?
