Children love growing plants and love being the garden but can often be impatient, wanting to see instant results.
From 26th May to 3rd June it is National Children’s Gardening Week. The HTA supported event aims to capture children’s enthusiasm for gardening at a time when results are immediate.  Children are being encouraged in this ‘warm week’ at the end of May to get gardening and at Burleydam Garden Centre we have an exciting week of events planned for budding young gardeners.

We’ll be supporting the Greenfingers Charity that week, which is dedicated to providing magical gardens for children in hospices suffering from life limiting illnesses.
