Four Christmas indoor lighting options you may not have considered

When it comes to Christmas lighting, the fairy lights on the Christmas tree are likely to be the first thing to spring to mind, but they’re far from the only option. Here are four other options that you may not have previously used, to light up your home’s interior this yuletide.

1. Fibre optic canvases

You may have already seen a fibre optic Christmas tree, but have you come across a brightly-lit festive canvas before? All sorts of scenes are available, from a traditional village scene to a jolly Father Christmas. You can even buy a gorgeous image of pine trees lit up by the Northern Lights.

2. Twig trees

Twig trees can lend a more contemporary look to your home during the festive season. These may be styled like a birch tree with narrow, illuminated branches, or may even be made from twisted copper wire. They come in a range of sizes as well as styles; some stand at just over a metre, while others reach almost two metres in height.

3. Water-filled trees

Water-filled trees are fairly new to the market, and they make a lovely display to light up a dull, dark corner. They are normally battery-operated, and the LED lights inside have constantly changing colours when the tree is switched on. Some even feature a festive dusting of glitter.

4. Festive shapes

From a love heart to a light-filled tree topper or string of bottle lights, there are all sorts of lovely little ways to illuminate your home this Christmas.
