How is a pop up tree different from an ordinary artificial tree?
Larger artificial trees come in sections that slot together, and the branches are then fitted into the pre-made slots on the main branch section, usually in descending size, to create the silhouette of a real tree. Pop up trees are usually more slender, come in one piece and simply fold out with no building needed.
Pre-lit and pre-decorated
Most pop up Christmas trees come with integrated LED lights, and many also have decorations within the design of the tree, meaning they are completely ready to go and require nothing more than a super-quick set up. That’s not to say you can’t add your own finishing touches, but if you don’t have either the time or the space for that, you’ll still have a fully functioning, ready-made Christmas tree, with lights, baubles, tinsel and all.
Longevity
All artificial trees will last for many years, as long as you’re not too rough with them and you store them in a dry place. The repeated use means that both in economic and environmental terms, your pop up tree will be cheaper and less harmful to the planet than buying a real tree every year.
