Summer is the time of year for getting out into the garden and having fun.
There are lots of activities you can do, regardless of whether your garden is spacious or bijou, and here are three to consider.
Create a flower bed
Nothing will make your garden more pleasing to spend time in than the addition of colour, in the shape of flowers.
All you need is to pick a suitable patch in your garden to create a flower bed. To get the best results, pick blooms in a variety of shades that will burst forth in summer if planted in spring.
Some good examples include sunflowers, petunias and marigolds.
Organise a BBQ or a picnic
Outdoor eating and drinking is an ideal way to enjoy the summer with family or friends.
If you are not a big fan of cooking, a picnic prepared with cold meat, sandwiches and cakes will go down just as well.
Those who do not mind a bit more food preparation might prefer to grill some delicacies for guests on a BBQ. Make sure you have something suitable for people to sit on, such as garden furniture from the Supremo Carina range.
Create an outdoor cinema
This is often easier than it sounds, and will make summer nights magical for kids.
All you need is a projector, some comfy chairs for people to sit on and a screen. A bed sheet will work perfectly well for that. Then crack open the popcorn and enjoy silver screen fun with the family!
