All you need to know about the Chelsea Flower Show

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show is making its return this spring, taking place in its regular May slot for the first time since 2019. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the show was cancelled completely in May 2020 and was substituted by a virtual showcase. In 2021, it suffered delays until September to ensure it was an in-person event.

This year, however, the Chelsea Flower Show is returning to its traditional spot, allowing garden lovers everywhere to enjoy a springtime event. Here’s all you need to know about the event.

How to get tickets

Tickets are on sale right now via the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) website. RHS members get cheaper tickets and have the first day of the event reserved for them. However, there are a range of tickets for non-members too, including specific packages for those garden lovers who live outside London.

What to expect

There will be lots to see and experience, including the RHS Chelsea Floristry and Design competition and the chance to explore a number of different gardens.

When is it?

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show is set to take place at The Royal Hospital, Chelsea in London from the 24th May to the 28th May 2022. Whereas last year was slightly different due to its rescheduled date and six-day run to accommodate social distancing, this year, the show is back to normal with its five-day springtime schedule.

For those who love gardening, the RHS Chelsea Flower Show a great place to get ideas and see some award-winning designs that could be incorporated into gardens at home to enjoy while sitting on Supremo Barcelona garden furniture, for example.
